Just a few days ago, Samsung launched the J7 Pro and J7 max which was followed by the launch of the J5 2017.The Korean Giant releases a lot of midrange budget phones every year in India.The J5 2017 which was launched recently and now its successor, J5 Pro was just launched in Thailand today.The J5 Pro only has more amount of RAM and internal storage when compared to the J5 2017 and it is priced at 9,990 Thai Baht and we expect it to come at around Rs. 19,100 when it gets launched in India.
Samsung J5 Pro Specifications
The J5 Pro sports a 5.20-inch 720p AMOLED display and houses a 3000 mah non-removable battery.It is powered by the 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor coupled up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB Internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via a microSD card.It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and has support for the dual sim (GSM + GSM)as well.
It comes with a 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.It has all the basic sensors such as Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.There is also a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button itself.
As far as we can see the only upgrade is in terms of RAM and Internal Storage.The RAM is bumped up from 2GB RAM to 3GB RAM and the internal storage is bumped up from 16GB to 32GB.
On the front, We have the speaker, earpiece, front camera followed by the AMOLED screen in the front and at the bottom, we have the clickable home button.
Moving to the rear we can see a vertically placed camera module with flash present just below it.This is followed by the Samsung branding.On the sides, we have the volume controls and the power button.
Although J7 Pro was announced last month it is yet to go on sale in India.Looking at the previous trend chances are even J5 Pro will be announced soon in India.This month Samsung is also launching few other smartphones so stay tuned for more updates.
