Samsung Z series are a series of smartphones by Samsung which run its own Operating System. The company has previously launched Tizen OS based smartphones in India which haven’t really gained that much of attention. Samsung has yet again released another Tizen OS based smartphone which is called the Samsung Z4.

The Samsung Z4 will be the 4th iteration to the Tizen OS based lineup of smartphones by Samsung.
The Samsung Z4 comes with a 4.5” WVGA (480×800) IPS LCD Display. This screen is a 2.5D Curved Screen. It has got 1.5Ghz Quad-Core Processor and comes with 1GB RAM.
The phone will be running on Samsung’s own operating system, Tizen 3.0.
In the rear, there is a 5MP Rear-Facing Camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and it also comes with a dual LED Flash.
There is a 5MP Front Camera which also comes with an LED Flash.
The Video Flip feature allows both cameras to work in concert, capturing views from both in a single video. There are gestures and voice controls for the camera and the phone as a whole too.
The pricing of this phone hasn’t been revealed yet and neither are we aware of the launch date of this phone in the Indian market.
The only thing we know for know is that this phone will be launching in the month of May of this year. Also, it will come in black, gold, and silver colors.
Samsung doesn’t have much interest in pushing Tizen as an OS for flagship devices if it aims to keep business relations with Google tight.
Another phone which is gonna be launched in the month of May is the Xiaomi Redmi 4. It comes with a 5-inch 1080p display and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. It also comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 128GB.
The Redmi 4 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with PDAF and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based MIUI and a 4,100mAh battery inside. The phone supports 4G LTE and is also VoLTE-ready.
