Unfortunately, there’s no official word on the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2 as of now. The brief listing of the Xiaomi Redmi Pro 2, however, points to an imminent launch of the phone in China in the coming weeks or months.
The Xiaomi Redmi Pro came with the same 1080p OLED Display. It also had a set of dual cameras and was, in fact, the first Xiaomi phone to have this setup. Also, the base model was powered by the Mediatek Helio x20 Processor whereas the higher end variant was powered by the Helio x25.
Last year’s Redmi Pro started at ¥1499 ($217) for the 3GB + 32GB model with a Helio X20 SoC; ¥1699 ($246) for the 3GB + 64GB model with a Helio X25 processor; and ¥1999 ($290) for the 4GB + 128GB model also with a Helio X25.
We might also be wrong and that’s the price for the 3GB RAM model but we don’t want to raise our hopes too high.
