Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has been playing it’s cards well in the market with its fantastic smartphone products. It has recently launched it’s latest smartphone in the Redmi line. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has recently been launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 9999/-. It has succeeded the Redmi Note 3 which has managed to garner quite a lot of sales(3.6 million units in 2016).
Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Details
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been launched at an event with a 5.5 Inch Full HD display along with a 2.5D curved arc glass. Also, it sports a metallic body just like its predecessor Note 3. Performance-wise the phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa Core Processor and there are variants in this phone based on RAM and storage. The 2GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 9999 and the 3GB RAM variant is priced at Rs.10999 and the 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs.12999 out of which the first two come with 32GB storage and the 4GB variant comes with 64GB storage. Also, it can be expandable upto 128GB with a hybrid slot.
This device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI8 with VoLTE support. Also, it sports a fingerprint sensor at the back. It has a 13MP camera with phase detection autofocus, f/2.0 aperture dual LED Flash and 1080p video recording and also a secondary 5MP camera for selfies.
The connectivity options include GPRS/EDGE,3G,4G and also VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro-USB and infrared.The Redmi Note 4 comes with a 4100 mAh battery. Also since this phone runs on Snapdragon 635 it’s quite power efficient. Snapdragon processors are built on 14nm technology which helps increasing battery life.
This phone will be available on 23rd January on Mi.com and Flipkart. This phone will compete against the newly launched Lenovo P2.
